Hi all,
I've pondered this idea for a while and now I have the resources tomake it happen.
Basically how it'll work,
I have tons of furbies, they all work and have only been played with by me,
I'll put batteries in, make sure they work, find out the name.
I'll have a website that will list the type of furby, its name, color, etc. and a price.
I'm wondering what the interest of this would be and wha tkind of prices people would pay for these lovely toys. I'll only be selling the original kind the adults and babies.
I thought about it this way.
regular babies $40 this icludes the baby, batteries, and shipping
special edition babies $45 includes same
regular adults $50
special edition adutls $55
of course for some really rare furbies it might be higher etc.
accessories like sleepy time beds $20
What do you guys think of the prices? Would you buy a furby?
Jessica

Only if it came with a free box of shotgun shells included for disposal of said furby. Scary ass things. Destroy them all and save the world.

Not sure what they are. Can you describe them for the people who are not sure what they look like. I bet kidswill love them. Are they more a toy for a boy or girl?

Which is why they are scary. They have huge eyes, beaks (cuz that isn't a mouth, its a beak) and big wiggly ears; and they can learn. No toy should be able to learn, has no one but me seen child's play? Shoot them, shoot all the furbies and save mankind from the hostile take over.

I heard about them, but didn't know how much they could actually learn.
To the original poster, see how much they're selling for on eBay, watch the bids, and that will give you an indication. Sell them for enough less so you can still profit, but also so people get a savings. I don't know what they cost to begin with, so have no frame of reference.

my cousin had one or two..they would talk back and forth to one another. I always thought it was neat!
As for prices, I have no idea there so I'd check ebay and amazon to see.

i love furbies! i love interactive toys, i have two, a baby and an adult and honestly paid much less than what you say in the first post for both of them. wish i had them all though, one of each version lol
cody, they don't exactly learn english, or italian in my case, from you. what they do at least the two i have is repeat the same things they say in their language in yours more and more as they grow up. if they could really learn from people i'd love it, but haven't seen that happen. the adult i have also answers to certain voice commands but that's pretty much all.
slightly off topic but still about interactive toys, i'm quite confused by some dolls you have to feed, change etc, but ask you to do these things with the voice of a 10 year old. lol

wow. One of the most classic 90's toys. I've heard they're quite fun to circuit bend. Look on youtube for circuit bent furbies to get an idea of what I mean. Hilarious stuff, that.

Surprisingly, I never really wanted one of my own. I was content to watch my friends play with their's. I think maybe I may have wanted one, for a month or so at one point, but I must not have wanted it all that much, because I honestly don't remember.
